Chevron Tankers plc today announced that its chemicals division, Chevron Tankers Chemicals, has signed its first Contract of Affreightment (COA) with Luberef, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership expected to unlock new growth opportunities in the years ahead.
Under the agreement, Chevron Tankers Chemicals will transport base oil produced at local ports to destinations across the Arabian Gulf and the west coast of India. The COA reflects both parties’ commitment to building resilience in the base oils supply chain and delivering reliable, long-term maritime transportation solutions.
